Hi, I’m Darletta, and I love sharing the feeling of peace and balance teaching Yoga at Core Fusion Pilates + Yoga! I began practicing Pilates in an effort to relieve chronic back pain. As I built core strength, I added yoga to my fitness routine. The benefits of a total mind/body practice were so overwhelmingly positive for me that I knew I had to share it with others.
After becoming certified to teach both Mat Pilates and Yoga in 2008, I began to look for places to share my unique style — Core Fusion Pilates + Yoga allows me to share the feeling of being healthy and strong and balanced that has helped me so much.
My goal is to work hard to make sure that everyone leaving one of my classes leaves with a true sense of peace and accomplishment.
Among the many certifications that I have, one that I am very proud of is my certification to teach “Yoga Warriors” classes. Yoga Warriors is a specific style of yoga designed to help those with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder or Combat Stress Disorder.
