Hi, I’m Lynn, a Yoga teacher ready to help you improve your flexibility at Core Fusion Pilates + Yoga! I’ve been a fitness instructor my entire adult life and taught all the classes, high impact, low impact, step, body sculpting…you name it…I did it! But after almost 20 years of this I realized I was overlooking a critical aspect of my fitness: flexibility.
What could I do to improve my flexibility? I happened to be teaching other fitness classes at a studio at the time where they offered yoga. So, I started taking yoga classes and immediately fell in love!
Not only did I enjoy improved flexibility, but I was surprised how yoga improved my ability to be mindful and present. At that point, I was more than hooked, so I became certified to teach it.
And now, more than 15 years later, I enjoy yoga so much that I only teach it and the occasional Mat Pilates.
If you happen to take one of my classes, you’ll enjoy my calm demeanor. Yoga’s meant to be a low-pressure, destressing, centering practice. I’m not afraid to laugh at myself, which keeps classes fun and non-threatening for beginners and experienced people alike.
You’ll find my classes loaded with information so you understand exactly what’s going on. You’ll never feel lost or confused. You’ll know exactly what you should experience with each pose so you understand exactly why you should do the pose a certain way. This means you get the most out of each class you take.
Every person has a unique body with different needs. I’ve found yoga accommodates all body types and fitness levels, which even includes you if you’ve recently been injured or have any physical limitations.
You’ll learn how to break through any barriers, even if you’re experienced and have felt stuck for some time.
I teach Power Yoga, Vinyasa Flow Yoga, and Yin Yoga.
